Hello Broncos - I am excited about continuing my educational journey as your Assistant Principal! This will be by 3rd year as an Assistant Principal. The last 2 years, I served the students and staff at Swansboro High School. I am thrilled about building new, positive, nurturing relationships with students, staff, families and the community.

Before becoming an Assistant Principal, I was in the classroom for 16 years as a 6th grade ELA teacher at Swansboro Middle School. While there, I was an active teacher leader, mentor, along with coaching cheerleading and girls track. I am originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA) and graduated with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Wilkes University in 2006. I earned my Master's in 2015 from East Carolina University in School Administration and Curriculum and Instruction.

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Mark, for 14 year. He is an 8th grade science teacher at Swansboro Middle School and is an active coach at the high school and middle school levels. We have a daughter, Kennedy, who will be going into 5th grade at Swansboro Elementary. Outside of school you will find me spending time with family and friends, playing games, shopping, and going on weekend trips being a dance mom.
